Delamar Southport 250th Anniversary Experiences:

To mark America’s 250th anniversary, the Fairfield University Art Museum presents “For Which It Stands…” — a major exhibition featuring more than 70 works that explore artistic interpretations of the American flag from World War I to today (running Jan. 23 – July 25, 2026).

Pequot Library Association

Founded in 1889 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Pequot Library is more than a library — it’s a historical and cultural center. The Romanesque Revival building itself is a fine example of late-19th-century architecture, and its special collections often include rare books, early American texts, local archives, and exhibitions that tie into broader American cultural and historical themes.
